AirAsia received its first Airbus A330neo aircraft. It will be operated by its long-haul affiliate AirAsia X Thailand.
The new aircraft will help increase the fuel economy of the airline’s long-haul fleet. The first will be based at Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport and will support the airline’s expanding long-haul network.
The new plane features 377 seats across two classes: 12 premium lie-flat seats and 365 economy seats. AirAsia X is the aircraft manufacturer’s largest customer, with 66 planes on order.
