Air France introduces Night Service, enabling premium passengers the chance to dine in the lounge and sleep while on board. Business-class passengers departing from New York (JFK) to Paris (CDG) can enjoy the same meal as the one served in the cabin in the airport lounge prior to boarding. The meal is served at a table in a dedicated private area.
The earlier dining service option allows customers to sleep while in-flight on Air France’s lie-flat seat beds. Breakfast is served prior to landing in Paris. The Night Service is now available on departure of flights AF011 (9:45 p.m.) and AF009 (11:25 p.m.). No prior booking is required; some special meals can be enjoyed on board only.
Since 2004, Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have formed a global air transport giant with a strong European base. Air France-KLM offers customers a network covering 316 destinations in 115 countries across its four brands, which also include Transavia and HOP! Air France. The fleet includes 546 aircraft, and from Air France-KLM’s hub airports in Paris and Amsterdam (AMS), the airlines offer up to 2,200 daily flights. Air France-KLM and partners Delta Airlines and Alitalia offer the bigger trans-Atlantic joint venture with more than 250 daily flights. The Flying Blue frequent-flyer program boasts more than 25 million members. As a member of the SkyTeam alliance, with 20 member airlines, Air France-KLM offers customers access to more than 16,320 daily flights to 1,052 destinations in 177 countries.
