Affinia Manhattan, located adjacent to Madison Square Garden and New York’s iconic Pennsylvania Station, has completed the final phase of a top-to-bottom, two-year, $33 million renovation.

“The fully renovated Affinia Manhattan was designed to create an urban retreat that reflects the hotel’s playground, which is New York City,” said Joe Kelly, general manager, Affinia Manhattan. “Our guests have the best of both worlds — the vibrancy of the Big Apple and the comfort-focused details they’ve come to expect from the Affinia brand.”

Affinia Manhattan’s new public and event spaces feature neutral tones complemented by splashes of green, orange and red. A stunning lobby chandelier, designed to replicate the topography of New York City, presides over a lobby sectioned into three main areas: a sprawling front desk space, a common area and a relaxation area.

The renovation expanded the property’s guestroom roster a total of 618, including 84 one- and two-bedroom suites with several featuring kitchens and terraces. Guestrooms feature a crisp white and gray color palette with green and orange accents. The hotel also boasts an 1,100-square-foot fitness center and on-site, self-service laundry.
