AdventureWomen, the travel company specializing in adventure tours for women, announced a partnership with African Wildlife Foundation. The organization supports the conservation of Africa’s wildlife through education, community development and sustainability projects. As part of the partnership, the two organizations will host a women’s safari to Zimbabwe in May 2022.
The tour, Zimbabwe: On Safari with the African Wildlife Foundation, brings travelers to exciting destinations in Africa to learn more about conservation and local wildlife. Visit Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park to see rhinos reintroduced to the area by the African Wildlife Foundation. Spend time exploring Hwange National Park on a camping excursion. Take in Lake Kariba, the world’s largest man-made lake. The tour concludes at Mana Pools National Park where travelers can view elephants, leopards, hyenas and cheetahs on foot, in safari vehicles or on the water. The trip also includes a visit to Victoria Falls, a walking safari to spot rare wildlife and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
AdventureWomen’s owner and African Wildlife Foundation’s safari program manager will join the trip to offer their insight. In addition, an ecologist and community organizer from Zimbabwe will take part in the trip.
