Newtown’s Hotel Hell successfully transformed into Rocco’s At The Brick this January, and even Gordon Ramsay would be proud. If you’re like me and you enjoy everything Gordon, you most likely remember the 2016 episode from Ramsay’s show Hotel Hell when he ventured over to Newtown, a nearby town in Bucks County, Pa., to assess the poor management and horrendous food.

All that changed with the recent opening of Rocco’s, a premier steakhouse with a whole new vibe. I first visited Rocco’s for my sister’s birthday in February. Despite just opening, we needed to make the reservation way ahead of time to ensure a good spot. The food was absolutely divine; however, with the restaurant recently opened, you could take note of the untrained staff and overall frantic persona of our waitress. Despite the minor challenges, I was definitely willing to give Rocco’s another try.

I recently visited the establishment for a second time with my boyfriend for our anniversary. We sat along the glass windows overlooking the patio and fire pit outside. Our waiter — who I swore I recognized from my time at Penn State — was fantastic. I was at first skeptical over the changes to the menu, aka the margarita’s new recipe; however, the replacement was 10/10.
