Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces offers guests a new online and mobile experience with the unveiling of its new website, designed to inspire travelers with an easy-to-use format. The new site revolves around exotic and popular destinations, incorporating storytelling, real reviews and enticing visuals. “Taj Hotels has been operating world class hotels in key destinations for over a century. We are now taking that experience online by providing stunning destination and hotel content to our guests across all platforms and devices in order to inspire travel. With the launch of the new website we have also attempted to translate the unique ‘Tajness’ experience offered at our hotels and on to users’ screens in an intuitive fashion,” said Chinmai Sharma, chief revenue officer, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces. Highlights of the new website include destination pages with local events, tips and more; booking for property restaurants; mobile optimization; imported TripAdvisor reviews; and a 24/7 online chat option. Upcoming features include redesigns of the brand’s Jiva Spa and Taj Holiday sites, as well as a new mobile app for both Android and iOS users, primarily catering to Taj InnerCircle members.
