InterContinental Hotels Group will open its third property in London in a new development next to the O2 Area in Greenwich. Slated to welcome guests in 2015, the InterContinental London The O2 will feature 452 guestrooms and suites, several restaurants and bars, a spa and meeting and event space. “We look forward to InterContinental London The O2 sharing in the future success of its sister hotels including the recently opened InterContinental London Westminster and InterContinental Marseilles Hotel Dieu,” said Robert Shepherd, chief development officer for IHG Europe. IHG currently operates more than 4,600 hotels and 678,000 guestrooms in nearly 100 countries and territories around the globe and has more than 1,000 hotels in its development pipeline.
