As the year winds down and temperatures cool, Museo Jumex in Mexico City is gearing up for an impressive new line-up of exhibitions. Aligned with the museum’s mission to present major surveys of internationally significant artists from Latin America and beyond, as well as new works from noteworthy artists in their mid-careers, the 2026 Fall/Winter seasons gets underway with a rich trio of exhibitions. These include the first major survey of Latin American works by Richard Prince, an immersive installation created specifically for the museum by artist Álvaro Urbano and the first solo exhibition in Mexico of works by Raúl Silva.

The Richard Prince survey ,Tell Me Everything, opens Sept. 26. Featuring a deep dive into four of the artist’s most well-known series — Cowboys, Girlfriends, Jokes and Cartoons — the exhibition was curated by Prince himself in collaboration with chief curator of Museo Jumex Kit Hammonds. This exhibit features more than 130 pieces dating from the 1970s to the present. Also among the pieces on display will be sculptural works, the Hoods series and selected pieces from the artist’s early explorations into the re-photography of images from fashion and advertising.

Álvaro Urbano’s Helen opens Oct. 16 in Museo Jumex’s Gallery 1. An exploration of the intersection of architectural and botanical histories amassed over decades at Juan O’Gorman’s Casa Cueva in Mexico City, this immersive installation explores the pivotal figures who shaped this space through the decades of construction, renovation and transformation initiated by O’Gorman, his wife, botanist Helen Fowler and architect Helen Escobedo.

Also opening Oct. 16, Raúl Silva’s first solo exhibition in Mexico, Gateway, examines the artist’s fascination with and exploration of media, technology and telecommunications.

This exhibition includes a brand-new video installation, along with a selection of archival materials, paintings and sculptural elements. These pieces highlight how the coast of Cancún, both as a tourist magnet and a source of pre-Hispanic imagery, have played a significant role in the body of Silva’s work.
