Viceroy Bali introduces Akoya Spa, a reimagined on-property spa and modern wellness center. Akoya is set to be a destination oasis with top-line treatments that spoil your body from head to toe, as well as an expanded selection of wellness-minded treatments. The new spa is available for guests and locals.

Guests at Akoya Spa can experience a full range of treatments blending the best of Western techniques with time-honored Balinese wellness traditions handed down over centuries. Relaxation is at the heart of the spa with couples’ massage rooms with full baths and facilities, luxurious reflexology chairs, beauty salon and spaces with Zen-like water installations and sweeping valley views. Guests can book treatments such as massages, body scrubs, body wraps, facials, hair treatments, manicures and pedicures.
Local therapists, beauticians and aestheticians are on hand to pamper guests with treatments from romantic couples’ massages to facials with the latest in ultrasound technology to relaxing baths in sea salt or organic dried lavender. One of the signature treatments is a 60- or 90-minute traditional Balinese massage using essential oils, acupressure and deep pressure to relax every muscle. Other popular treatments include a body scrub and a Super Facial, which utilizes the Geneo platform for a three-in-one approach to treat both the outside and inside of the skin.

“Our visitors today look forward to relaxation and luxury, and of course we’re equipped to provide that with nearly two decades of experience as one of Bali’s most serene sanctuaries,” said Amanda Syrowatka, general manager, Viceroy Bali. “But today’s guests also want a comprehensive approach to wellness, and with the launch of Akoya in partnership with Fusion Wellness, we’ll be able to pamper the mind, body and spirit.”

May 21, 2025Hotel Nice Beau Rivage Review
In the city Henri Matisse once called home — and where Musée Matisse holds his largest collection — Hotel Beau Rivage has a special connection with the artist, who first visited the hotel in 1916 and painted famous sea views from his room 89 in 1917. Today, framed Matisse prints — many brightly colored cut-out collages from the artist’s JAZZ collection — decorate its walls. Hotel guests also benefit from a partnership with the museum.
