With summer approaching, more and more people start to plan seasonal travel. For those who haven’t planned a summer trip yet, here are four unique destinations:

Peru

The Country Club Hotel is a celebrated oasis in the middle of Lima. The hotel offers a mix of glamour from the past with the cutting-edge design of the future. Guests staying at Country Club Lima can enjoy V.I.P. access to restaurant reservations and tables, and private guides for visiting museums and attractions after hours to avoid the crowds. Guests also receive a V.I.P. driver throughout the stay to ensure safety throughout all activities. The hotel also helps guests plan travel within Peru.

With a new Golf View Presidential Suite, an array of oversized suites and rooms, access to Lima’s premier golf course, museum art installations on site, spa services and delicious food and beverage offerings, Hotel Arrenas offers a variety of experiences for guests and a little touch of paradise with rooms set by the sea, some with private pools. Guests can take a step back from their everyday lives.

Brittany, France

At Domaine de la Bretesche, guests enjoy a quiet place to relax, surrounded by cool, blue waters. The cottages offer an ideal getaway for golfers and families looking for a stay in a natural environment. The outdoor pool and tennis courts are available. Guests can also jog, bike and walk along the surrounding areas. The property features 13 cottages available for two–five people, comfortable and decorated to provide a cozy and bright environment.

St. Barth

For yoga enthusiasts, Hotel Manapany’s Yoga by the sea is the perfect escape. Join renowned yogi Diana Bourel for a week or weekend at the resort’s Summer Camp. Bourel focuses on movement as transmission, the energetic fluid and ever-changing canvas within our lives. July 15–Aug. 15, guests can join Diana for a stimulating summer program of personal growth, yoga, meditation and healing.

Maldives

Sun Siyam Resort is committed to the preservation of local heritage and sustainability. The resort works with local islands to protect various species and engage in activities like coral planting and bio-farming. Guests can get in on the action too and make a difference by joining the resort’s biodiversity conservation program with in-house marine biologists to assist in the creation and restoration of new coral reefs in the lagoon. Led by Thuhu, lead marine biologist, guests work together to collect damaged coral and replant it. Guests can also head to Farm Island at Iru Veli to meet farmers and learn about the produce grown, including the more than 38 varieties of fruits and vegetables featured at the resort.

High-Spirited Hong Kong: The Dynamic Hub Embraces Its Maritime History and Culture

It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport. Airliners were required to bank sharply at the last moment, dodging hills and apartment blocks to line up with a runway jutting out into Kowloon Bay. The airport is long gone, but international visitors are arriving at Kai Tak again, albeit more sedately. Their cruise ships dock smoothly at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a modern gateway designed by Sir Norman Foster.
