This May, United Airlines debuts a new direct flight between Newark (EWR) and Faro (FAO) following a delay. Originally set to launch in 2024, the new route will operate four times a week until Sept. 23.
Taking off Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, flights departing Gago Coutinho Airport at 11:40 a.m. arrive in Newark at 3 p.m. on the same day. Flights from Newark to Faro are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, departing at 9:35 p.m. and arriving in Faro the following day at 9:50 a.m.
The flight will be operated on a Boeing 757-200 aircraft, featuring 16 United Polaris business-class seats, 42 economy-plus seats and 160 economy-class seats. This flight further cements United Airlines’ position as the leading U.S. airline in Portugal, as well as an even more connected network worldwide in 2025.
