A new boutique hotel is set to act as the gateway to New York’s Hudson Valley.
The Abbey Inn and Spa, a 42-room hotel, sits in Peekskill, New York, in the former convent of the Episcopal Sisters of Saint Mary’s. The renovation to get the property guest-ready ran $22 million.
The hotel’s principle dining option, Apropos, features chef-driven cuisine inspired by the Hudson Valley. The Apropos Bar features more than 200 bottles of wine, a wide selection of local beers and a strong selection of cocktails and mocktails.
The property includes an emphasis on wellness and serenity with a variety of spa offerings and a fitness center. A number of meeting rooms make the property a perfect candidate for business meetings and team get-togethers.
The property is set to open in 2020.
