The restaurant took over the space of the old San Marco Theater, a place I remember going to as a child. When the theater closed, I feared the building would sit empty for a long time.

A Sizzling Memorial Day Weekend
On Memorial Day weekend, it was a scorcher in Jacksonville, Florida, but my friends and I came up with ways to stay cool and enjoy the time off. Around noon we headed to one of their houses, which backs up to a large park. Outside, we grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, enjoyed some beer, and played some fun games. One of my friends made tasty limoncello Jell-O, which she poured back into the rind of lemons and oranges, for a fun and refreshing treat.
