Adjusting to a Social-Distancing Life
With the stay-at-home date in Pennsylvania recently being pushed back until June 4, it’s making me wonder how long it will really take for things to go back to normal. Will life ever be the same post-COVID-19? How long will we have to take precautionary measures once the stay-at home order is lifted? No one truly knows the answers to these questions, and we are going to have to wait and see.

Making Adjustments
This past week has brought about a rapid escalation of impacts of the (now officially declared) coronavirus pandemic. As someone who works in the travel industry, it has been difficult to watch the heavy toll the disease has taken on cruise lines, airlines and destinations which rely heavily on tourism and know that the effects will be felt for a long while. Of course, much worse than the economic fallout is the loss of life and health of those infected and their families, and I cannot imagine the physical, emotional and mental toll the illness has taken on overwhelmed health care workers on the front lines of this battle.
Travel Tribulations and Rescheduling a Vacation
It is no surprise current world events surrounding the COVID-19 virus have caused mass panic, health concerns and stress among those in and out of the travel industry. The virus caused me to reschedule an upcoming cruise I planned to take with my mother to celebrate her birthday.

United Airlines First to Purchase Sustainable Aviation Fuel for ORD
Chicago O’Hare International Airport will soon receive sustainable aviation fuel, all thanks to United Airlines, which became the first airline to purchase SAF for use at the airport, one of the largest in the United States. Neste, a producer of SAF, will provide up to 1 million gallons of its Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel. The first supply arrived in August.
