Zach Bryan at Lincoln Financial Field
A country music concert is not my usual scene. But after my girlfriend, Brena, unexpectedly got free tickets from a friend to see Zach Bryan’s Quittin’ Time Tour on Wednesday, she asked me to go with her, as she enjoys his music. It was a damp day in Philadelphia as we headed to Lincoln Financial Field, but luckily the rain held off during the actual concert (unlike his show the night before, which was delayed due to thunderstorms).

2024 Concerts
A new year means new concert tours. Every year my friends and I like to go to a few concerts, and this year won’t be any different. Last year I got to see two of my favorite artists, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, so I am not sure how I am going to top that this year.
Haley Reinhart and Family
Shortly after seeing Haley Reinhart perform twice in the Chicago area last year, I interviewed her for Talking Travel on Global Traveler. Reinhart promised she would be back soon, as she always returns to her home. Reinhart fulfilled that promise with an amazing concert at North Shore Center for Performing Arts.

Traveling for Taylor
For better or worse, I spent this summer having my travel plans dictated by the itinerary of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. In mid-July, Swift played Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, and I flew from Philadelphia to join her and about 70,000 other fans. I’m a lifelong Swiftie, and I’ve met friends from all over the country through a shared love of Swift. My friends and I decided to convene in Colorado because of the opening act; Swift’s openers vary city to city, and Denver was the final of a mere handful of shows MUNA, one of our favorite bands, joined Swift for.
