Global airline alliance SkyTeam launched a new two-stop option to its collection of round-the-world passes.
The alliance says the option is perfect for regular travelers who require multi-destination itineraries, like the business traveler with important meetings in one country one afternoon and a presentation in another the same week. The two-stop pass accommodates the needs of the frequent traveler and is praised for its flexible solutions to suit budget, destination, purpose of travel and convenience. Travel must begin and end in the same country.
The pass can be booked up to seven days in advance for travel on any of the alliance’s 20 member carriers in economy, business or first class, which serve 1,062 destinations in 177 countries. The alliance gives an example of a two-stop itinerary beginning in New York, traveling to Paris onto Shanghai and then returning to New York, with an economy fare starting at $5,650.
The two-stop option is the latest addition to SkyTeam’s Go Round the World Pass, which offers travelers itineraries between two–15 stops. SkyTeam recently announced plans to open its first branded airport lounge in North America, scheduled to open by the end of 2017 at Vancouver International Airport.
