ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN: On my recent trip to Cyprus, I explored several different destinations, so I did a bit of hotel-hopping. On the third day of the trip I stayed at Almyra Hotel in Kato Pafos. After a long day of exploring Pafos, I was hoping for a quick check-in so I could head to my room to freshen up and relax before dinner that night. Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly staff with a glass of Champagne. At the back of the room a sitting area held two chairs and a small table in front of sliding doors. I didn’t have time to enjoy the area, but it served as a great alternative to a balcony — I could still enjoy the stunning views without having to sit outside in the heat.
