The first Kimpton property to open in Asia recently debuted in the Da’an District of Taipei.
Kimpton Da An Hotel is the brand’s first foray into Asia. It brings the brand’s signature luxury trademarks into the heart of Taipei. Guests have easy access to Taipei’s local life, including cafés, boutiques and galleries.
The new hotel features 129 rooms and looks to offer guests an atmosphere defined by tranquility. Kimpton’s standard amenities make an appearance at the hotel and include in-room yoga mats, lobby tea and coffee offerings, complimentary bicycle rentals and wellness classes. The hotel is also pet-friendly and open to animal guests at no additional charge.
The property’s restaurant, The Tavernist, embraces the organic movement currently gripping Taiwan and works closely with local farmers and producers, according to Kimpton.
