Hilton Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of Hilton Edinburgh Carlton. The property is Hilton Worldwide’s 16^th in Scotland. “Hilton Edinburgh Carlton offers a chic hotel experience in a prime Edinburgh locale with its sleek design, top-notch amenities and all the benefits and high-quality service expected from Hilton Hotels & Resorts. The property includes 211 guestrooms and suites and features an executive lounge. Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill is the hotel’s premier dining experience, offering a classic menu created from local ingredients. Seven meeting spaces accommodate groups up to 200, with the main event space, Highland Suite, boasting panoramic views and natural lighting. “The Carlton Hotel is an iconic Edinburgh institution and today’s transition marks the completion of a £17 million complete refurbishment program that has transformed this unique and seminal hotel,” said John Brennan, CEO, Amaris Hospitality. The hotel is 10 miles from Edinburgh Airport (EDI) and within walking distance of many popular attractions, including Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street and luxury shopping and dining. In honor of the opening, Hilton is offering HHonors members 5,000 bonus points for three-night stays at the property before Oct. 31.
