Frontier Airlines recently announced 25 new, non-stop routes, including new service to Central America and the Dominican Republic. Frontier Airlines also plans to open a new base in Miami in March 2020.
“Frontier is among the fastest growing airlines in the United States and we are excited to introduce 25 new routes including more flights from Newark, expansion in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico and new flights to Guatemala City and San Salvador,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines. “We recognize the demand for affordable air travel in these communities and are proud to bring our brand of ‘Low Fares Done Right’ to these sought-after destinations.”
New routes from Baltimore (BWI) take travelers to El Salvador (SAL), Miami (MIA) and San Juan (SJU). New routes from Miami take travelers to Austin (AUS), El Salvador, Guatemala City (GUA), Long Island (ISP), Ontario (ONT), Santo Domingo (SDQ) and Trenton (TTN). New routes are also available from Ontario International Airport, San Juan Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport.
All new service begins in spring and summer 2020, starting March 10 when flights from Newark to Santo Domingo, Tampa (TPA) and Cancun (CUN) launch.
