Hainan Airlines is offering current members a chance to earn elite VIP status. Current members who also hold an elite status with another airline or airline alliance can participate in the Hainan Airlines Fortune Wings Club Elite Challenge through Dec. 31.
Eligibility for the challenge requires submission of an online application. After the application is approved, members have 100 days to reach a mileage goal of 15,000 base points for gold status or 9,000 base points for silver status.
Members can earn base points on not only Hainan Airlines, but also Grand China Airlines, Tianjin Airlines, Lucky Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines, Capital Airlines, Fuzhou Airlines and Alaska Airlines.
