Following the outcry over the untimely death of Cecil the Lion, Delta Air Lines earned major street cred with animal lovers by implementing a worldwide ban on the shipment of animal trophies as cargo across their fleet. Species covered in the ban are lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo. The airline is also reviewing their acceptance policies covering other hunting trophies, working with specific government agencies and other organizations to determine legality.
