Corinthia Hotels introduces a new series of inspiring vlogs from creative locals headquartered in the brand’s destinations. The video series, entitled Portraits of a City, portrays a luxury destination from the eyes of leaders in creative fields from design and fashion to music and art. The first vlog takes viewers to Lisbon, with tips and stories for hotel guests and visitors. Filming takes place in well-known spots around the city. The vlog hosts were chosen for their local popularity, knowledge and passion. The marketing initiative is furthered through events at Corinthia Hotel Lisbon, with the artists acting as guests of honor, and social media coverage. Locals featured in the Lisbon video include Chef Jose Avillez, owner of six Portuguese restaurants, one with two Michelin stars; Diogo Navarro, award-winning painter and focus of dozens of art shows; Maria Ana Bobone, internationally recognized Fado singer; and Nuno Gama, Golden Globe-winner and celebrity fashion designer. All vlogs are viewable at the Corinthia Insider page and on the brand’s social media channels. Future videos plan to highlight St. Petersburg, London, Prague, Budapest and Malta.
