Set upon a four-acre private peninsula on the island of Bonaire in the Dutch Antilles, Harbour Village Beach Club consistently wins awards as a premier diving and snorkeling destination. The resort was a founding member of Bonaire’s Coral Restoration Foundation, and guests are invited to take part in a special program of introducing baby staghorn and elkhorn corals to the established colonies located near the resort’s beach. The structure of these particular corals provides habitat for sea creatures and contributes to reef building. Training will be provided by dive masters offering guided dive courses for guests interested in learning firsthand about the care of coral species. Fees from the cost of the course will go toward supporting coral conservation.
