Brussels Airlines resumed trans-Atlantic service to and from New York (JFK) and Washington, D.C. (IAD), to Brussels (BRU) this week.

The NYC route will operate Monday, Friday and Saturday, on an Airbus A330-300 with business, premium-economy and economy cabins. The flight departs JFK at 6:35 p.m., and arrives in Brussels at 8:10 a.m., the following day. In July, a fourth weekly flight is added. From Washington, D.C., flights resume four times per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, also on a three-cabin A330-300. The flight departs IAD at 6:30 p.m., arriving in Brussels at 8:25 a.m., the next morning.

“Reconnecting the capital of Europe with the US after a period of 15 months is an important and symbolic milestone in the restart of our operations during the summer. We are beyond excited to welcome our passengers again as people are eager to travel, to be reunited with family, friends and business partners. With extensive health safety measures and with passengers either tested or vaccinated, we are convinced we can offer a safe travel journey. We certainly hope that travel restrictions will be eased soon, allowing easy and accessible travel once again between Europe and the US,” said Peter Gerber, CEO, Brussels Airlines.

JW Marriott New Orleans Review

Family gatherings are extra special this year and we chose to celebrate a milestone birthday in New Orleans. The JW Marriott New Orleans, across the street from the historic French Quarter, is ideally situated for exploring the city. Streetcars roll in front of the property and are especially fun for first-time visitors. Within a ¾-mile radius, we could walk to the National WWII Museum, Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Sazerac House, Harrah’s Casino, the Shops of Canal Place and numerous restaurants.
