Adding to its already strong presence in the country, Minor Hotel Group will debut a new boutique resort on the Indian Ocean island of Zanzibar in Tanzania next year after taking over the management contract of the Essque Zalu Zanzibar. The hotel group plans to transform the property into a Per AQUUM resort by the end of 2015. Nestled in a natural cove on the north east coast of Zanzibar, the retreat offers 40 suites and nine three- and four-bedroom villas. Facilities include three dining venues serving local organic produce as well as a choice of exhilarating activities and experiences for both adults and children and a spa offering a range of revitalizing and holistic treatments.

Per AQUUM’s portfolio currently includes Huvafen Fushi and NIYAMA in the Maldives and Desert Palm in Dubai.
