I am writing this blog from my room at the Hilton Rome Airport Hotel at the end of a bustling European adventure. The property certainly gives meaning to the convenience and comfort of staying in an airport hotel. The hotel is accessible from all terminals of Rome Airport (FCO) and is easy to find via signage and the moving walkway. Upon check-in, I was pleasantly greeted at the front desk and proceeded to my spacious room on the executive level. The lobby is modern but includes accents of beautiful Italian marble. The executive lounge on the fifth floor is wonderful! Once in my room, I quickly changed and went downstairs to the fitness area, where there was a water aerobics class going on and top-of-the-line gym equipment being used. I couldn’t be more excited to take full advantage of the facility!

The restaurant and lounge feature a delicious menu and live music. I ordered room service from the restaurant on my first night. As a New Yorker, I consider myself a pizza connoisseur, well-played, a perfect margherita! I’m looking forward to the rest of my stay here at the Hilton Rome Airport Hotel. When in Rome, be sure to stop here for a night, or three or four!
