I don’t think I can begin to say when the countdown started, outside of how close we finally are to the big day. Planning a wedding is never easy, let alone a destination wedding in 2020.
Are we crazy? Maybe, but full of hope and determination, too, to celebrate our nuptials down in Tulum, Mexico, this November with family and friends. We’re talking less than 30 guests. I call that impressive as is, too! We thankfully did not have to move our dates or travel plans, thus far. The excitement is real, and we are so very excited to get down there not only to relax but to celebrate and be with family!
There are way too many “what ifs” in life, and we’ve started to learn you can’t question too much. It’s time to live life and see where the road takes us. Our resort, The Bahia Principe Grand Tulum, finishing planned renovations, is scheduled to reopen days before we arrive. Thankfully as bride and groom, we have been lucky enough to escape a few days prior to our guests and seek a little pre-honeymoon down in Mexico.
We’ve gone through countless bumps in the road, difficult conversations, unfortunate realizations and much more throughout this year, as many brides have. It’s quite the learning curve, but we’ll make it.
While away, we are excited to utilize The Parking Spot‘s services once again for a safe, trusted parking spot to leave our car near the airport. This provides such convenience and peace of mind with our early flights.
The days are coming closer as we’ve repeatedly packed our bags and gathered our excitement, and we are beyond ready to take off on this new adventure! I found my forever travel buddy years ago and am thrilled to make it official and continue our adventures for many more!
