I recently attended the debut of Jacksonville’s newest Fore Score Golf Tavern, a bar and restaurant brand with golf simulators. The new location showcased the best of elevated bar bites with tasty cocktails. Whether you’re an avid golfer or someone who wishes to practice swinging before hitting the actual course, this is the place to do it.

Fore Score Golf Tavern features Full Swing Golf simulators, which boast cutting-edge technology. Play Hole 18 at Pebble Beach, compete in a long drive competition with your friends or simply brush up on your skills. These simulators aren’t just for golf, however. You can play an array of other sports, from soccer to baseball to football. My friend and I played a few rounds of golf before trying out the soccer feature, where we competed against one another to see who could score the most goals.

Simulators also come with chairs and a table for friends to watch, dine and drink while you play. From tangy buffalo chicken dip (one of my favorites) to an array of flavorful flatbreads (my favorite is the prosciutto and goat cheese flatbread) to smash burgers, there’s no shortage of good eats.

Signature cocktails also await. Bee’s Knees, for instance, blends pea blossom gin, lavender, honey and lemon, while Sunday Red features smoky mezcal tequila, ghost pepper-infused maple syrup, orange and lemon. For large groups, why not opt for an espresso martini tower?
