It’s hard to believe 2019 is almost over! The end of this year also marks the start of a new decade. Like many people, during this time I tend to reflect on the past 12 months. While each year has its ups and down, I prefer to fondly remember the best parts of the year.
Here are some of my 2019 highlights:
- Traveling to the Bahamas for a destination bachelorette party to celebrate my cousin-in-law’s wedding
- Attending High Water Festival, a two-day music festival in Charleston, South Carolina, with my friends
- My first-ever trip to South America, visiting Chile (Santiago, Valparaíso and Viña del Mar)
- Dining at The French Laundry in Napa Valley, California
- Becoming a first-time homeowner with my husband
- Meeting celebrity chefs at Savor Borgata food festival in Atlantic City, New Jersey
- Hosting our families for our first Thanksgiving in our new home
The year isn’t quite over yet. I have a trip to New Orleans still to look forward to before 2019 comes to a close. I’m also looking forward to some travel plans already in the works for 2020.
I hope you all have a happy and healthy New Year!
