Tomorrow evening I am attending Fiji Airways‘ congratulatory rebranding event. In May 2012, (formally known as) Air Pacific announced it is embarking on a complete rebranding of the airline, including name/livery and updated aircraft, but it is still upholding its unique customer service.

I am glad the airline has placed “Fiji” in its name, as it once was circa 1958, as it’s pretty much the only place if flies to from the United States and gives it more of a leisure destination feel. The new feel continues with its induction of Airbus A330 aircraft, which hold new Panasonic X2 entertainment systems and business-class design. Also, its four Boeing 737 aircraft will have similar upgrades that are due to roll out this September. It’s great to see Fiji Airways take steps to upgrade its brand and match the luxury feel that Fiji has to offer. I hope to explore Fiji in the near future . . . how about you?
