“Dancing with the Stars” Live on Tour!

by Mary Melnick

Feb 23, 2026

For the past two years, my friends and I have been obsessed with Dancing with the Stars, so when the pros announced they were going on tour this season, we knew we had to go. Unfortunately, the only show we could get tickets for was during the week, so the whole group couldn’t go, but my one friend and I decided to get tickets and go.

We’d gone to the show two times prior, so we were excited to see what this year’s show had in store. The show kicked off with an exciting and energetic opening number where each pro was introduced and got their own solo and ended with the introduction of the star/celebrity joining that city. We were lucky enough to get Andy Richter. Although he wasn’t the best dancer, and, yes, he will even admit that, he brought an added level of comedy to the live show.

In addition to Andy, the show featured pros like Alan Bersten, Brandon Armstrong, Britt Stewart, Daniella Karagach, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Jenna Johnson, Pasha Pashkov, Val Chmerkovskiy and Hailey Bills.

After the opening number, the show featured dances of all kinds, including partner dances, group dances and solos. These dances were in the styles of samba, contemporary, Argentine tango, rumba, salsa and more. Mixed in with the dances were a couple skits. Some were comedy and others were dance-themed — they even brought a fan on stage for one of the skits!Dancing with the Stars

Dancing with the Stars

This year the show had an added element of a mobile cameraman. During certain dances and skits the cameraman followed the dancers around so we could see different points of views of the dances and even backstage moments. I really liked this new addition because it made it feel more intimate.

I was so mesmerized by all the dances and hard work the pros and Andy put into the show. Sadly, all things have to come to an end, but the show concluded with an exciting and energetic dance number.

Can’t wait for next year’s show!
