As the year comes to a close, we see an influx of “best of” lists. Whether it’s films, music, restaurants or other countdowns, it’s fun to look back and reminisce on the highlights.
Here are a few of my favorite moments from 2018:
— Traveling to new places, including Lisbon, Charleston, Asheville and Healdsburg
— My first experience hiking in a national park at Shenandoah National Park
— Attending the parade for first-time Super Bowl champs, the Philadelphia Eagles
— Celebrating my second wedding anniversary with a museum visit and dinner in Philadelphia
— Visits to wineries, breweries and the New Jersey shore
