Bangkok Airways and EL AL Israel Airlines announced a codeshare partnership, strengthening their respective route networks and offering convenient new options for travellers in Thailand and the Middle East.
The agreement covers nine routes, including round-trip flights between Bangkok (DMK) and Samui (USM), Chiang Rai (CEI), Chiang Mai (CNX), Lampang (LPT), Trat (TDX), Sukhothai (THS), Danang (DAD), Phnom Penh (PNH) and Siem Reap (REP).
Later this month, the airline begins direct flights between Chiang Mai and Hanoi, Vietnam (HAN). The outbound flight will depart Chiang Mai at 09:55 and arrive in Hanoi at 12:00. Inbound will depart Hanoi at 12:45 and arrive in Chiang Mai at 14:50.
The airline also recently launched the latest version of its mobile application to facilitate seamless electronic passenger services. Passengers can now book flights with preferred seats, make special requests such as insurance and meals, check in for flights and take advantage of services including car rental, hotel reservations and transportation services. It’s available on iOS and Android.
