Azul Brazilian is expanding its service between the United States and Brazil with a new route from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Belo Horizonte (CNF). The first-ever non-stop flight on the route commences Nov. 16.
“We’re so excited to add this new service for the hundreds of thousands of Brazilians living in Central Florida and the millions in Brazil wholove to visit Orlando,” said David Neeleman, founder and CEO, Azul.
The new route is the airline’s second connecting Florida and Brazil. Azul began service from Orlando (MCO) in December 2014 with daily non-stop service to São Paulo (VCP). From July 1 to Aug. 9, the airline will add three weekly flights to its existing schedule for a total of 10 round-trip flights per week connecting Orlando and São Paulo. Azul offers more than 900 daily flights to 105 destinations serviced by a fleet of 153 aircraft.

Husband-and-wife team Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee made their mark by reinventing the term “hidden gem” through their surprising and intentional collection of destination restaurants. Even at a time when the San Fernando Valley was not known for innovative 5-star dining, the Lees’ concepts gathered such a strong buzz that discerning diners cheerfully followed them “over the hill.”
