Conservation-led luxury adventure company andBeyond adds to its South American portfolio with a state-of-the-art river expedition yacht based in the Peruvian Amazon. Weighing anchor on Sept. 29, 2026, this new ship will feature the best in modern design and technology, operating from the port city of Iquitos.
The ship will offer a selection of three- and four-night itineraries as well as a full seven-night itinerary, venturing through places such as Nauta and Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, located in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.
The andBeyond Amazon Explorer will feature just 12 luxury suites, two superior suites and one deluxe suite, catering to a maximum of 32 guests. Interiors reflect an authentic sense of place inspired by local Shipibo-Conibo culture, complete with touchpoints of local Kené art.
In addition to spacious suites, the ship will house a generous spa, various gym areas, dining spaces with an interactive cooking station, Explorer Centre and more. Excursions will take passengers deep into the rainforest using smaller boats. Activities include guided walks, fishing for piranha, bird-watching and nighttime expeditions to search for wildlife.
