Qantas and Air France passengers now have more options for travel between Europe and Australia via Asia following a renewed codeshare between the two airlines.
Available for booking June 5–July 20, Air France adds its code to Qantas flights from Hong Kong (HKG) to Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL) and Brisbane (BNE), and between Singapore (SIN) and Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth (PER). Air France customers can also access codeshare services from Sydney to five other Australian destinations.
Qantas adds its code to Air France flights from Singapore and Hong Kong to Paris (CDG). The new agreement means the two carriers will codeshare on a total of more than 200 weekly flights. Customers experience more seamless travel with single-ticket itineraries and through-checked baggage, as well as the opportunity to earn points on the codeshare services.
Eligible Air France travellers can access Qantas lounges in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia; Qantas customers can access lounges in Hong Kong, Singapore and Paris.

Vail Resorts opted to close all 37 resorts early in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, but the mountain resort operator also wanted to give back to the community in the face of this adversity. The excess perishable food from the various properties was donated to 30 local food banks, schools and community organizations in the communities where Vail Resorts employees live, work and play. Fruit, vegetables, cheese, juice, granola bars and more went to mountain communities from Colorado and Vermont to British Columbia.

Take-offs and landings reached a low last week, with traffic plummeting to less than 10 percent of the number year over year. Passenger traffic is at 5 percent of last year’s level.
