For almost three hours, participants can taste their way around the city on a walking tour of the best dessert shops and sweet spots. (You can tell yourself it’s in the interest of education if you like.) Along the way, you’ll learn the history of each dessert, its ingredients, and how it’s created. Note: This tour is definitely not dairy or gluten-free.
During Foodi’s popular Food Night Safari Melbourne, explore the city’s food culture and meet the owners of local cafés and restaurants while sampling from their menus. This walking excursion last from 3.5 to four hours. Venues include hidden bars and eclectic cafes, with plenty of insider culinary tips from knowledgeable guides. Great places to explore while you’re in town include the signature cheese at La Formaggeria, located on the corner of Acland and Carlisle streets in the St. Kilda neighborhood.
