DoubleTree by Hilton is set to debut in Colombia with the opening of two new properties in Bogotá. DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá Parque 93 and DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá Calle 100 are slated to open in December 2015 and February 2016, respectively.
“International travel to Colombia has continued to increase over the past few years and we are excited to bring the DoubleTree by Hilton brand to serve this booming market,” said Ted Middleton, senior vice president, development, Latin America, Hilton Worldwide. “These two singings in Colombia underscore Hilton Worldwide’s strategy to serve any guest for any trip occasion anywhere in the world.”
The 132-room Cosmos Insignia Hotel will be converted into the 132-room DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá Parque 93, located in the center of Bogotá’s Chicó neighborhood minutes from restaurants, cafés and bars. The hotel will offer the restaurant Agata, a lobby lounge and an executive lounge with bar.
Tower C of the Hotel & Convention Centre Cosmos 100 will be converted into an 88-room DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá Calle 100, located in a prime location in the north end of the city close to shopping, business and financial districts and 25 minutes from El Dorado International Airport. The hotel will feature a lobby lounge and restaurant and will benefit from direct access to the Cosmos 100 meeting and event space.
