It’s time for tea in Hong Kong, and the Ritz-Carlton is ready to pour with a new Strawberry Chocolate Fantasy tea service. It’s available weekdays throughout September at Café 103’s popular bookshelf tea stand from 3:30–5:30 p.m. During the same time slot on weekends, a sumptuous tea buffet offers a staggering array of strawberry and chocolate delicacies. To balance out the confections, savory choices include coffee foie gras mousse, vanilla crabmeat sandwiches, salmon roe, and cucumber cheese sandwiches.
For sweet indulgences, there’s strawberry basil pave, a light creamy cake made with strawberry basil cream; strawberry choux puff pastries filled with white chocolate cream and fresh strawberry discs; Chinese egg puffs, a strawberry-flavored egg puff topped with ice cream or fresh seasonal fruits; and strawberry Eton mess, a classic English treat made up of delicate meringues, fresh strawberries and sweet cream. The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is located on floors 102–118 of the International Commerce Centre in Kowloon.
