Dorsett Hospitality International announced plans to open its second property in London. The hotel group will rebuild The Matrix building located at the Aldgate tube station and the 18th century St. Botolph Church into a hotel to be known as Dorsett City, London. Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2015, the 13-story property will feature 275 guestrooms and suites, two restaurants, a bar, a spa and meeting and event space. The new hotel will join the hotel company’s first hotel in the city, Dorsett Shepherds Bush, slated to welcome guests in the first quarter of 2014. Dorsett Hospitality International, formerly known as Kosmopolito Hotels International, currently operates 18 properties in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Malaysia and plans to open seven additional hotels within the next two years in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
