Shutters’ cuisine and American-Cape inspired fixed-price menu, under the direction of Executive Chef Daniel Kenney, encompasses fresh, seasonal ingredients including Cape oysters on the half shell, yellow fin tuna sashimi, Maine lobster Farci, carved Long Island duck breast, and roasted East Coast salmon. Desserts include passion fruit cranberry crème brûlée and fresh lemon curd tart.

Husband-and-wife team Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee made their mark by reinventing the term “hidden gem” through their surprising and intentional collection of destination restaurants. While they launched the original Scratch Kitchen in 2013, an expired lease prompted them to relocate to an unassuming strip mall in suburban Encino in 2015 and rename it Scratch Bar & Kitchen.
