With 2026 in full swing, I am itching to get on my first trip of the year. The first trip I am going on starts as a business trip but will turn into a leisure trip by the end of the week.
On April 19 some of us at FXExpress Publications, Inc. will head to Miami for the 14th annual Leisure Lifestyle Awards. The event is set to take place at the InterContinental Miami Hotel on April 20 at 6 p.m. If you happen to find yourself in or around Miami that day, join us for a night of celebrating all things leisure travel as well as free food and drinks … make sure to RSVP here!
At the end of the week I am supposed to be in Del Ray, Florida, for a bachelorette party, so I figured it would be better to just stay instead of flying home for a day just to turn around and get back on a flight to the same area. I’m not sure what I am going to do during my downtime in Florida, but I am hoping the weather is nice so I can soak up the sun and maybe catch a tan.
During the bachelorette party, we have a lot of fun things planned. One day we are doing a booze cruise; another we are going to stay at the house, relax at the pool and play fun games; and at night we are going to go out and explore the town. I can’t wait for my week in Florida!
Fast forward to June, and I will be heading to another bachelorette party in Myrtle Beach. I have never been to Myrtle Beach, so I am looking forward to experiencing a new area. This bachelorette party is mostly following the same activity theme as the one before: a boat day, fun at the pool, exploring the town, etc.
This is the year of bachelorette parties for me because later in June I am heading to Denver for a third one! Again, I have never been to Denver, so I am excited to check another new destination off my list. I don’t have many details of the itinerary for this one; but no matter what we do, I am sure we will have a good time.
Although these are the only trips I have planned, it’s only for the first half of the year, so I am sure there will be more to come. Looking forward to seeing where the year takes me!
