Officially delivered March 18, Viking’s newest Longship Viking Nerthus was presented at Meyer’s Neptun Werft shipyard in Rostock Warneműnde, Germany. Accommodating up to 168 guests, Viking Nerthus spans 84 staterooms, all featuring Viking’s signature Scandinavian design.
The new ship includes a distinctive square bow, Aquavit Terrace and wide variety of stateroom choices. All suites come with two full-sized rooms with a veranda off the living room and a French balcony in the bedroom. The ship’s Sun Deck boasts 360-degree views and shaded sitting area, solar panels and walking track. Guests can also enjoy a lounge and bar with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, library and onboard shop, free WiFi, restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows, and more. Viking Nerthus is an identical sister ship to Viking Kari, Viking Radgrid, Viking Skaga and Viking Fjorgyn.
Two new itineraries aboard Viking Nerthus journey roundtrip from Paris, with ports of call along the Seine including Rouen, Giverny and the beaches of Normandy.
