Ocean Avenue’s newest beachfront jewel comes to Santa Monica, California, this spring. Located on the beachfront, Sandbourne Santa Monica will feature 175 guestrooms and suites, each crafted with tranquility as the focal point. Every texture, element and material contribute to a sensorial experience. Colors reflect the sand and sea, with designer Gulla Jónsdóttir and her team bringing art to life through textures like woven fibers and soft linens.

With direct access to Santa Monica Beach and Third Street Promenade, the hotel offers a balanced retreat of beach and city. In addition to thoughtfully designed accommodations, the new hotel will include an upscale pool, lounge and cabanas, as well as an indoor/outdoor fitness center catering to active wellness.
Event spaces total 10,000 square feet and, in 2025, guests can expect a full-service wellness spa. The grand opening of the hotel will also include a new restaurant concept by Chef Raphael Lunetta. The indoor dining space showcases Chef Lunetta’s coastal California cuisine creations. Complete with a bar and outdoor patio, guests can unwind and relax.
