Looking Back on My 2022 Travel Memories
After looking at different destinations and travel options for an end-of-year trip for nearly two months, my fiancé, Nathan, and I decided to skip the big trip this year as we start getting ready for our wedding and focus on a few smaller trips next year. However, I do happen to have one more business trip for the year that actually lands on my birthday week, so that makes missing the trip an easier decision.

Not too long ago, my family and I took a trip to North Georgia to spend time near some of the many parks situated in the Georgia-North Carolina region. On our first day in the area, we headed to Stone Mountain Park. While the park features many sites, on this day we planned on hiking to the top since it was already in the late afternoon.

I found it hard to believe I was still in the South when I entered Providence Canyon State Park, Georgia. Some friends and I took a road trip to finally visit the park after seeing photos online and wondering how something so Grand Canyon-esque could be found in Georgia.
