SWISS plans to launch the renewal of its long-haul aircraft fleet with the arrival of new Boeing 777-300ERs next year. A total of nine new aircraft will be gradually assimilated into the fleet from the beginning of 2016.
The airline’s new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will offer 340 seats, including eight in first class and 62 in business class. Suites in first class will include a 32-inch screen, the largest in the industry, as well as electrically adjustable window blinds and personal wardrobes. In business class, travelers will enjoy seats that can be quickly and easily converted into lie-flat beds.
The new aircraft will initially deploy on services to Hong Kong (HKG), Bangkok (BKK) and Los Angeles (LAX) from summer 2016.
