Langham Place, New York is observing Earth Day (April 22) with some interesting initiatives, including replacing its complimentary house car with a pedi-cab from Revolution Rickshaws. Langham Place New York’s house car is complimentary to guests on a first-come-first-saved basis for transportation anywhere within Manhattan.
Also through April 22, the hotel’s Measure Lounge offers a three-course vegetarian lunch featuring dishes inspired by the elements: beetroot and goat cheese salad represents Earth; smoked tomato soup represents wind and wood; homemade chili pepper fries represents fire. The special menu marks the launch of a new three-course express lunch ($29) that will change monthly.
To complement the Earth Day lunch menu, the staff at Measure Lounge also concocted a special element-inspired version of its Three Martini Sampler ($16).
