Earlier this year, Cape Cod’s Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club took the plunge into wellness by announcing a significant expansion of wellness offerings. Some of the new initiatives included year-round wellness retreats, helmed by Liza Bertini, retreat sales manager who came from a previous position at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in the Berkshires; a new 1,000-square-foot infrared retreat studio and use of the historic Carriage House space; new accommodations in The Charm, an adults-only option; and expanded healthy dining options.
The retreats vary in capacity and duration and touch on a variety of wellness interests, from traditional yoga and meditation retreats to cold plunges and exploring health issues. The fall lineup was recently announced:
- Sept. 26–28: What You Came Here For: A Soul-Stirring Women’s Retreat: This immersive weekend retreat will help women reconnect with their purpose, clear what’s blocking their expansion and rise into a leader. This includes intuitive coaching, breathwork, guided writing sessions, rituals, a floating sound bath and a $150 spa credit.
- Oct. 3–5: Cultivating Presence: A Yoga Retreat into Stillness & Self: Corina Benner leads Cultivating Presence, blending yoga, meditation and spacious stillness.
- Oct. 24–26: The Generous Exchange: How Channels of Beauty, Goodness and Excellence Restore our Health, Ignite Hope and Inspire Positive Action: This weekend retreat, led by resilience expert and positive psychologist Dr. Maria Sirois, explores the power of appreciating beauty to restore hope, reconnect with innate goodness and inspire generous action.
- Nov. 14–16: Plunge and Presence: Cold Immersion, Breathwork and Yoga: This transformative weekend of cold immersion, breathwork, yoga and meditation by the sea is guided by experts Michael Christoforo and Jenya Nesterova.
All of this new programming complements the resort’s already extensive offering of on-site amenities across its 429 acres, including tennis, pickleball, golf, six swimming pools, bicycle rentals, direct access to Cape Cod Rail Trail, a rotating schedule of wellness classes and full-service Beach House Spa.
