The recent opening of NH Copenhagen Grand Joanne in Denmark’s capital city marks the latest addition to NH Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio.
Located in Copenhagen’s Vesterbro district, this new hotel lies in a beautifully restored 1800s building, which has operated as a hotel since 1928 and previously underwent a complete renovation in 2023. Spanning 162 guestrooms and suites, the property features natural materials, warm tones and bespoke furniture. Spacious penthouses, meanwhile, come with private terraces.

Amenities include a seasonal sixth-floor rooftop bar, The Rooftop, open spring and summer. The Rooftop serves curated cocktails and small bites, and hosts live DJ sets twice weekly (Thursday and Saturday). Other dining venues include Joanne’s Restaurant & Bar, where laid-back social dining meets modern Italian cuisine (from signature breakfast dishes to evening cocktails), and Pinden, a Copenhagen staple since 1907. Pinden has been reimagined with Danish bodega charm, becoming a go-to spot for local beers and simple snacks.

NH Copenhagen Grand Joanne also includes diverse event spaces like a glass pavilion in the courtyard, stylish boardrooms and a private dining room.
The hotel’s debut also makes it the second Minor Hotels property in Copenhagen and third in the Nordics after NH Collection Copenhagen and NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa.
